Welcome to the continent of Aldernostrum this oppression when victory was uphold by 4 mystic sages that slew Aldar, forcing his army to retreat. Present day. our party, a…questionable band of adventurers, gather in a little town of Durin, on the southern side of the peninsula. They had heard about a nearby catacomb where travelers had been mysteriously disappearing into. Upon investigating, they met a purple skinned stranger with black bat wings, who disappeared before she was questioned. Back at the village, they found that the lady in question was a fallen apprentice of one of the mages from the great war, who became corrupted and turned to necromancy. Follow. A quant peninsula surrounded by mountains and oceans with one connecting land mass to the south. A war ravaged the land 100 years ago, where a Black Dragon by the name of Aldar crossed planes with an army of darkness to plague the land. With much diligence and hardship, the men and women fought backing this path, they took this information to the nearby city of Kunia, where they wished to speak to the lord in hope to contact the king about this troubling woman. Lord Terence, the lord of Kunia, exclaimed that his connection to the King has faltered ever since the death of his wife, Lady Sylvia, who was the king’s daughter, and in order to get back with his good graces, he would need to retrieve Lady Sylvia’s broach that was stolen 3 months ago from her grave. Now the party sets out for Rorikstein in hopes of following the Silver Leaf, a band of nefarious bandits, who were last known to know the location of the broach.

Reflections from Month Eight

This is the month I learned I wanted to do Computer Animation more than Game Art. I learned I require much more practice. Fortunately, I have amazing teachers and great friends to lend a hand.

This project is a posing project where we had to choose poses and pose them. I needed to have more contrapposto, which is not a dish served at an Italian restaurant. It is more define lively poses. I worked on a better line of action in each of my poses.

The next two videos are my final submissions for the month. The first is my initial attempt and the latter is after peer review. Their notes steered me in the right direction.

My second class was Art History.

We had an intriguing an art scavenger hunt at The Orlando Art Museum. They some interesting art, such as a Chihuly. There were lacking in the Van Gogh’s.

I got to curate a collection on Google Art&Culture. My favorites are linked below.

Winter Spring Summer Fall

This collection gives a story of seasons of life in mid-19th century Edo. They are woodblock print; ink and color on paper that show a variety perspective of their city lives. They stand out for their forms and emphasis on line and the realistic colors. Much depict that nature is large and we are small. I am fond of the scenes surrounding the samurai’s and the views from the bridge. The bridge is there today, but now it is metal.

I have officially switched to Computer Animation!!

Our Dungeons and Dragons group continues our journeys every Sunday!

Reflections on 3D Animation

This is my first reflection of my time at Full Sail because it goes at warp speed. Everything I have learned from month one has been built on on each consecutive class. The layering of information has been overwhelming, but at the same time it is extremely well thought out and a good way for myself to learn.

I have been anxious to get to this class because I am finally taking all the parts I have learned and animating it!!! This class has taught me how to take the principles of last months 2D animation and put them to use and start 3D animation.

This project was the bouncing ball. It is the same one we did in 2D, but now it is 3D. I used the graph editor and felt pretty confident that I achieved  what was asked of this project.

This is my first pass at Smash Ball utilizing rolling, bouncing, slow in, slow out, squash, stretch and multiple objects. My initial attempt at using multiple parts of animation at once. I wish I had more time because I know I could have done more.

I spent much this ant.

I am still spending much time with this ant. I have grown fond of him. I call him Fred. Fred was giving me trouble his arms, his broken spine and his antennas were frozen.

After many surgeries, Fred, seems to be able to walk, antennas are bouncing and he has a spine. Fred will need more surgeries in the upcoming months.

This class was fun and I learned so much. The teacher also shared a ton of information for tools in my tool box.

Back to warp speed in three days.
